Newell Homes is a niche property development company specialising in the design and build of exceptional, bespoke homes in prime areas of Essex. Once our team met with the client and viewed some of the developments they have been working on we were instantly excited and enthusiastic to begin working on how to showcase their work and brand in the best way possible to reflect their strong vision and ethos.
The brief was to create a visual identity that has a strong sense of heritage and prestige while looking modern, fresh and has elements that can respond and adapt throughout the branding and digital platforms.

The Creative Challenge
We began by configuring a colour palette that will set the tone for the branding with a dark royal navy tone contrasting with a rich gold that can be used as a flat colour or with a metallic texture. The choice of colour accompanied by a strong serif typeface for the wordmark began to portray a feel of prestige and heritage which paved the way for us to get creative with the icon and create something memorable and relate-able to the company. We wanted to incorporate the signature archway shapes used on the entrances of the homes along with the fantastic geometric patterns created by the window frames into the logo while still being able to keep it dynamic so a similar theme can be used for a brand pattern
